Today was fun - the weather was nice (but chilly) so pulled the hardtop off hoping for warmer weather soon. My daughter is home from college this week and wanted to go for a ride with the top down. In her winter parka! This was my first drive with the top down - can’t believe how nice these are opened up. Since I bought the car in December I had never had the top down except to make sure that it worked properly.

Nice. I was getting in the car today and my 8 year old daughter asked me if I was going to put the roof down.
I said, I wasn't planning on it. She said, "I do wish you would!"
Perfect, glad you are extending your passion to your family! Hey, great roads around there. We are getting ready for our annual trip to Marietta in a few weeks. Your area is an absolute dream for road trips! Enjoy!
Thank you Ratchet! You are correct - there are some amazing roads between Central Ohio and the Ohio River. I’m looking forward to driving on some of them soon. Finally the weather is starting to improve! Have a great drive!

Drove about an hour east to Lake James to check my boat (excuse). Happy to say it survived the winter in fine shape, will put it in the water for the season in a couple of weeks. Then drove home, put the car on the lift and changed the trans oil, put in Liquimoly 75w-90. This. Is the first time I’ve used that product and was surprised at how clear it was. Not sure what was in there previously. Overall it was an easy job, but managed to spill some on the floor anyway.
Picked car up from Indy, had the following installed... FF 997 Shifter (thanks to Adrian and Luka), FF motor mounts, EPS rear tuning fork arms. Already have the FF trans inserts. Absolutely love the FF combination of parts for great shift feeling and impeccable road feeling. Can’t wait to try this out on the track.
I took my car out for the first time this year and installed my Machine Revival steering wheel. I fall in love with this car again every year in spring.
Got it back from the shop last week after getting the M030 kit put on to replace the 20 year old base parts. Finally got to take it out on some fun roads with the top down and it's like a brand new car to me. Except now there's an intermittent squeak from the passenger side that goes up with wheel speed. I'm hoping it's just a rock caught in the caliper or something and not a wheel bearing. Haven't had a chance to get it on jack stands to inspect yet.
Other than the squeak how do you like the M030? I’m looking to order it soon to install in my 2002 cab. Did you replace anything else besides that which came with the kit?
