Not the first time I've taken that out is why it looks so clean under there!
Mind reporting back how much it cost? I replaced the bottom foam on my passenger side a couple years ago. You only need hog rings and pliers, but it was a pain to do. If there's a next time I'll just pay a pro to do it, but curious how much it might be.

Car is heading to the alignment shop tomorrow. Lowered the front a little, bled the brakes and adjusted the shifter.

Where'd you get that Guinness? Might have waited a little too long to flush the brakes....

I tried taking out my front seat and it had way more cables than this, and they were not easily "unclippable" from my untrained eye. But I did manage to vacuum under and it was lovely.

It's an 'H6' and is spec for my low optioned '99 C2. I noticed that the battery tray has another threaded hole for the clamp so I think you can fit a larger battery.

Ha! @plpete84 said the same exact thing but used Coke as the example via IG. I’ve had the car for 4 years and didn’t know it had SRF. I know now that it has to be done semi-annually to annually. Learned a lot with the install.

I use the empty last hole and installed a blind nut and hooked a H8 in both cars.

I've thought about it but I'm not sure I would like it. I would need to see one in person. I was thinking of painting the batwing and the trim piece around the HVAC controls and cubby. It would continue the silver theme for both console pieces.

I considered that as well, but my batwing (just replaced it after adding heated seats) has a slight texture to it so painting it worried me. The HVAC trim might look cool. Been googling over what I see out there, with the 991 badge, or some have the vents etc.. all in.. Less is more IMHO.

Failed my roadworthy test (WOF in NZ) on my front high beam being blown. Miraculously my brake lights also stopped working on the day of the test too.
Brakes were just a wiggle of the brake switch and a clean that was easy, Headlight one of the HID Bulbs needs replacing.
Finished painting my interior GT3 delete and gearshift console etc & reinstalled.

Seats and handbrake need a refresh next

Default Did the 997 GT3 shifter swap

Such a worthwhile upgrade. My old shifter wasn’t terrible or worn out, but upgrading to the GT3 is quite satisfying and makes the car feel more modern.

Installed this week on the C4S: H&R Sport springs, Bilstein B8 shocks, 15mm spacers rear, 12mm spacers front.

Since I've put this kit on, my "Thumbs up per day" while driving around town metrics have more than doubled 👍🏽
