They look great. They'd be awesome on a Ocean Blue Metallic car

Those wheels came out fantastic! Are they pearlescent?

Thanks, I was unsure at first. This is the most drastic thing I have ever done with a car, my most bold color choice has been anthracite. I think it contrasts with the blue and Savanah interior really well, I am going to post more pics tomorrow when I can get it out of the garage!

It's a powder called goldtastic with a clear finish and I put opti-coat pro+ on them as well.

I actually thought about doing my winter wheels (twists) Gold, but I have a silver (Porsche) side stripe - so I think they'll clash... They're black now, and kind of beat up so I'll probably strip and re-paint them car color (OBM) for next season...I think they'll look really nice.

I hear you. Now I am considering what to do with my calipers, they are bubbling, I feel like red is always a classic caliper color but then I have too many colors going on. Might just buy a set, have them powder coated and rebuilt and then replace and sell the old calipers.

Black calipers. Let the wheels be the only visual grab.

Yeah, I read Ahsai's write up. It looks pretty good but I'd need to buy that vacuum apparatus for $135 and I might never use it again. I want to see what an indy will charge for it and go from there. This may be one of those times where it would be more effective to just have it done.

I picked my '99 C2 up from the detailer, and drove over to the coast for a photo/video session. Here are a few shots.

Have you taken off the wheel and looked at the quality of the bushings?

The PO told me he'd already fixed the bushings so I thought it might be the horns themselves. When I got the wheel off, I saw a bunch of red goo in the bushings that was supposed to be the "fix". I was going to try the O-ring fix but the goo wouldn't allow that. So I ended up spending $100 on the new bracket. Horn works!

I had Sally haul some lumber to build some stuff for the wife and kids. I got a lot of strange looks but I have really come to appreciate how practical these cars are. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not quite my wife’s Honda Odyssey but it goes a lot faster!

I had the same problem in my e46 M3. It drove me crazy for a year. After a BMW specialist couldn't figure it out I pulled the fuse to silence it. Eventually, I tracked it down to a screw that fell out on the inside of the steering and lodged itself in the horn spring. That was it, super simple. Maybe that is the issue?
