I'd watch for tire to fender contact on suspension compression. From this angle, it looks likely.

Thanks. No rub yet but haven’t really pushed it. Will probably have to go find a low after crossing and hit it hard enough to push it.

The prior owner put them in. He also gave me the originals and the receipt for these.

They are from FVD-BROMBACHER in Germany, https://www.fvd.net/us-en/FVD6319960...1999-2004.html (Note that although FVD is in Germany, these parts originate in Taiwan per the invoice). Apparently plug and play. Gives it an updated pseudo-997 look.

Me too. I probably should have left the rear alone or maybe gone to 5mm. But at 5mm I'm not even going to notice it.

It's funny as it looks much wider than before, but 15mm isn't much.

I've had a few detailing clients that have used that system for carrying bikes, they seem pleased. Car looks good.

1. Love your signature block! I also have a 03 C2 that's driven everyday!
2. Love the lowered look! What did you install that did this?
3. Could you post a rear view pic of the bike rack installed? Want to see how it's mounted/secured.
4. Where'd you buy it, how much?

Thanks!

Not much honestly. No whistle that you might get other cross bar racks. If you didn't see the bikes in the rear window you wouldn't know they were there.

I'm on stock struts with H&R Sport springs. ~30mm drop F/R
I got the rack on amazon. Sometimes there's a little shipping savings vs buying direct from seasucker.com

These are the only 2 photos I have from the rear. It's secured on the bottom portion of the rear window. The entire mount system is very strong and I've tested them to ~125. The faster the speed the more stable the bikes seem to be. (Although I know everything has a breaking point)

Water pump, coil packs, sparkies, all preventive, annual oil change from new, last 6 years blackstone oil analysis, PSS10s, 6GT3 wheels, 32k mile car is perfect. Yes, all four pieces. Key, wallet and both luggage cases. Just did had done LN IMSS, again preventively, and at 32k Miles against my better judgement, and against my INDY recommendation did clutch, pressure plate and release, nose guide and pilot bearing. Porsche sickness forsure.

Well done sir! BTW, there is no cure, just more driving and medicine!

Hm, interesting...so nothing but big rubber suction cups!
