Hatchet, it doesn't match the under trays perfect, but good enough to get the proper and secure mounting.

Default Rad Cleaning

La Shana Tova, to my fellow Rennlisters who celebrate!
Figured I’d go into the new year with clean radiators. I have no idea when, if ever, they’ve been cleaned before, but here’s what came out. The carpet insulation is from the right side, paper towel from the left.
Keep in mind this car has lived its life in SoCal, there’s no “fall” here to spread leaves on the ground.

Thanks man! I'm very happy with it..it screams when you prod it, but on the way to the car show with the wife it cruises quiet enough that she was talking to her mom on the phone with no problem..even as I was gunning it a bit squirting thru traffic.
I need to get some 7k driveby vids..this thing is so fun now

Yes it is! That was Saturday and was the only dry day. Yesterday (Sunday) it poured down rain but C4 was eating it up. Have some good video of 120mph in the rain I just uploaded. The 3 local PCA Chapters - Hill Country, Maverick, and Lone Star, as well as the Houston BMW club put together another excellent HPDE event. Can't wait until the next one in March.

Sounds like fun! I love the way these cars handle in the rain! I'm in the Longhorn region, they'll be at Harris Hill Sept 22. I definitely won't be tracking my car, but I may go to watch.
How much did it cost you for the day at the Circuit of the Americas?

$945 for three days. 4 sessions per day around 25 minutes per session. Classroom time as well, and adult refreshments and pizza provided at the end of the day.

Harris Hill should be cheaper.
Also check SCCA for their Track Night.
They have a couple per year at Harris Hill.
They're much cheaper as well.

Yep, COTA is an expensive track to rent - $60,000/day. But for $315/day to drive it and get instruction it is worth it for me every single time. I need to get down to Harris Hill too. Was thinking of a membership there but haven't been out to see the track yet.

COTA's worth the money. It's an amazing track and the 996 is a good fit for it.

I'll put it on my list.
I have a free place to stay nearby.
