Bill, are you running the stock flywheel and clutch on your Turbo R?

Yes. Ruf does not replace these. They're still original at 50K miles, 20K since Ruf mods.

Interesting, as RUF definitely put in a LWF and a racing clutch in the BTR package.

Impressive performance. I must ask, at the expense of exposing my ignorance.
What is an evo750, is it an Evolution Motorsports car or a Gemballa GT?

Thanks

Evolution Motorsports car
It is a 996tt with bigger turbos and injectors plus a few other things.
With single driver and cool day I believe it will do the 60-130 in the mid 6's

Those are great numbers, thanks for posting the first seriously modded 996TT. It seems like you would be around 600-650 FWHP based on these numbers, . Would you mind telling us what gas were you using and how did you do your run.

Gemballa GTR 750 did 100-200kph in 5.3s but they said it was more like 800 hp.

Thank you.

I travelled to Phoenix for a meeting and took my AX22. Todd at EVO was gracious enough to take me for a ride and also let me drive. I toured the facility and he showed me what they are up to. Very fascinating! The car was Catless and running C16 race fuel at 1.4 bar boost. I have video and AX22 data, but I can't post as I am not a rennlist member, and was directed here by BillS. Thanks for the info. You should become a Rennlist member ..In the meantime, maybe one of the guys could help posting the video? Sorry but I am on dial-up.

Is there much difference between the 750 and the GT800 as far as performance is concerned? It would be great if you could bring more 996ers over here, this thread is building a great benchmark.

I don't know. I may be a poor driver?
The AX22 is very accurate, so I would suspect the other claims.
Speedo video is a 'poor man's version' of the AX22 and full of error.
The AP22 predecessor was good, but the wrong tilt factor could change your results significantly. The 911 has a lot of "squat" under acceleration and the correction for it with "sports car suspension" under corrects so that some of the "squat" is calculated as linear acceleration, making the times "too good"

That was my assessment after much back to back testing
