I'll be interested to see what you ask. What are you thinking?

From DRT yesterday this pic is a perfect microcosm of what is going on. From the photo I posted above of all 3 993S's Derieres, from left to right:

'98 Black/Black 993 C2S 22k Miles. Pristine. Asking $140k Larger Renn Fuch like wheels. Owner really doesn't want to sell but is entertaining offers at the top end of the market.
'96 Blue/Cashmere 993 C4S. 45K Miles (not sure about maintenance, at least cosmetically). Dealer plate. Spoke to 'owner', If were to sell would ask $85k.
'96 Midnight Blue Metallic/Cashmere 993 C4S (Yours truly) 86k miles. Porsche plate for showcasing only. Not selling, have less than 2 months with car, but if were to sell would ask for full investment so far plus $5K for my time and dedication to make this car even more perfect than how cmab1 kept it for close to 8 years prior to me buying it from him. Would have no shame in asking $90k. No frowns please. Paint correction and interior leather treatment protection alone was $3800. Non spray. 10 days old. record book is now 2 inches thick.

So yes @Italian Pursuit. The more you dive into this the more confused one can get. GLWS.

The BAT car had rust at the front wheel well (never seen that before) and had the transmission replaced some time in the past so not even a sterling example for $43k plus the 5% BAT buyer's commission.

I totally get why people trade in these cars instead of selling them directly.

The thought of having to deal with tire kickers and people looking for a 80k cars but wanting to pay 30k really discourages me from putting it for sale!
And that's not necessarily a bad thing!

Thats a nice looking car! One gripe I see is the audio equipment in the frunk. You never know what type of wire Octopus the Audio tech made.

He also has a silver 993 on pelican he posted yesterday and seems to be sold today, was too plain of a car for me anyways-the black 964C2 i've seen lately on his instagram that i am very interested in he won't sell, hope it doesn't end up on BAT eventually.

Anyone see the white 968 he sold on there? the car ended up in petrolicious and road & track

I have very mixed feelings about BAT now that i'm shopping for an air cooled car, its great for sellers but not for us buyers, so stop promoting it please lol.
