People buy CGTs and 918 Spyders that can be registered/driven on the road and they prefer to keep them in garages. Not too dissimilar, at $3MM+ that Project Gold cost even if it could be plated I would think twice to drive it out.

$80k with damage reported AND seemingly no documentation.

Market is a lot higher than that for clean tips already. A few months back Arctic Silver clean Tip went for 100k on Rennlist Marketplace before C4S sales/auctions took the world by storm.

As name suggests, cant say that im complaining

@993Auto If my 993 were a tip I would use it as a daily driver so not complaining either.. just baffled at where things have gone in a year+.... Enjoy!

Debating if to sell?? . I've got 2 cars coming back from restoration plus a 2022 inbound so I am going to have to make room and I think I am close to phasing out of my 993 wide body obsession so I am happy to discuss my car privately.

Hard to find a better caretaker for these cars than JAB12. He always does everything first rate. Buy with confidence. (Great guy, too!)

Very cool pic! Does anyone know what happened to that last 993? Was it a Turbo(S?) or a C4S? What kind of blue it is? Must have been a very special moment for all workers on the line.

I am pretty sure that Jerry S. still owns the car. It is a Euro C4S. It was ordered in Mexico Blue, but according to this website they couldn’t get the shade right and it is closer to Riviera Blue. My friend @Suitcase (who sold me my Riviera Blue 98 C2S) took a picture of the car at an event not too long ago - I believe it was at the introduction of Project Gold. I will see if he can post it here.

EDIT: also for more cool pictures of Jerry driving the car taken by a Rennlister check out this thread.

This is a picture of the last 993 taken by my friend @Suitcase at a PCNA cocktail party at the Tehama Golf Club in Carmel in August, 2018. The cocktail party was for the launch of Project Gold.
