I just completed this mod. Thanks for the great write up. This mod is definitely I must do. I am restoring a new to me 993 and after completing this mod I was amazed out how nasty my clutch fluid was when I flushed it. Clearly it had never been done ( probably because of the difficulties of doing so without this mod) I highly recommend doing this. It makes it so easier to flush your brake/clutch fluid.

I too got the idea of the remote bleeder setup from this thread. I don't know how to weld so I ended up buying a prefabricated bleeder with a bracket from Russell p/n 641370

I used some Teflon tape. Be careful to finger tighten it (using a small wrench using your thumb and index/middle as the only torque to turn it)... I sheared the an3 adapter the first time around thinking it was a problem with the adapter not seating correctly.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. I will try Teflon take.
Not sure if the adapter is correct since it doesn't have a taper on the end of the M6 end. See pic Ordered from Torques in UK.

This was a great idea from Andreas and I referenced this thread - and Andy's thread (https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...n-a-993-a.html) - to make this mod yesterday.
I bleed the clutch almost every year with the brakes, it is relatively cheap insurance and I find it therapeutic lying on my back, one (usually bleeding) arm jammed above the transmission, eyes closed trying to use the force to open the bleed screw.
Summit were out of stock for their kit (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-641370) so I bought these parts:
SUMMIT RACING: (1x)-3 AN Braided SS Brake Line 36" long (PN: ALL46302-36)
EBAY UK: (1x) -3 AN to M6x1.0 SS Fitting
PEGASUS RACING:
(1x) -3 AN Bulkhd mount for 3/8-24 Bleeder Screw SS (PN: 3266-25)
(1x) 3/8-24 Short Bleeder Screw 1.25" long (PN: 3266-01)
(2x) AN316 Jam Nut 3/8-24 Right Hand (PN: AN316-6-R)
But this left me with a bracket / mounting problem for a standard VRAM engine.
So I designed this bracket below that you can download from Thingiverse (you may need to wait a couple days, there can be a delay sometimes while an upload is verified): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4421595/files ("Porsche 993 Remote Clutch Bleed Bracket").
The bulkhead mount has a 19mm long Hex 16mm AF. It then has a 3/8" thread for the jam nuts and hydraulic inlet.
^Mini fluid drip tray depression designed into area just under the hex
The whole system worked beautifully yesterday. Many thanks to all for your input with this mod, it is def one for those of us that DIY service.
(Yes, that is a cut caphead bolt clamped in a piece of clear tube plugging the VRAM. Not proud, but damn if I can find the original bung.....)
I wanted something that at a squint might look factory, and it came out ok. Hope this helps others make this great mod.
Cheers.

Great work again, and generous to share.
I'll be doing the contortions this week but will order some parts for this - thanks both/all again for the ideas.
