That's very slick, nice work.

My concern though is what might happen with any mishaps with the bleed screw. Brake fluid coming down onto your engine would make a real mess.
Bruce,
I think we can "what if" most things that we do. Personally, I found Andreas's solution, very elegant...Just like your DYI write-ups and solutions!

Andreas,
Great mod that I (and probably others) plan to replicate. Thank you for sharing.
Before I place my order with Pegasus Racing, would you be so kind as to confirm whether these are the correct part numbers/items in the catalogue:
3-36-S-90: 36 inch Size 3 TFE Hose, Straight Female to 90 degree Female
3266-10: 3/8-24 Speed Bleeder Screw, 1.30" overall length
3266-25: 3AN Bulkhead Mount for 3/8-24 Bleeder Screw, Stainless Steel
AN316-6-R: AN316 Jam Nut, 3/8-24 Right Hand
Thanks again

Dan,
Those part numbers are good. Rather than a Speed Bleeder, I purchased a regular 3/8-24 bleed screw (3266-01) since I use a Motive pressure bleeder.

Wow, that is highly impressive ingenuity. Furthermore, you just HAD to include an expansive shot of the claen underside of your auto to rub it in. :-) Question - did you use mild steel for the bracket? I am not an expert at metal work but I wonder if the OCD in you (meant as a big compliment) has given thought to cad plating that bracket ... Or applying some kind of OE-ish corrosion resistance coating to the bracket. The paint is already very lovely .... I am unsure if the factory painted other brackets black as well.

EDIT - I looked at the pics again and realized the bracket was painted black.

Silver, gold or platnum coating in a matte finish would be ELEGANT!

EDIT
I was so enamored with this write up and solution, I forgot to critique...What? Not all metric fittings?!?

Kidding of course

You know what, I may just weld up another bracket and have it done in yellow zinc dichromate. Thank you for the suggestion.

The M6 to AN-3 fitting is metric. And I used metric wrenches to assemble the contraption.

Appreciate the feedback Andreas. If you ever visit BC's Okanagan Valley, there is a beer here with your name on it!

^^^ Damn, as if the list wasn't long enough already! This is pure brilliance. I must admit I skipped the clutch bleed a week ago due to how painful it is. I can see a seep on the slave hose connector, so I'm in for it here soon anyways when I change out the hose.

hmm, I"ll poke around for a suitable place to put a bracket on a VarioRam car... Big A, where did you fish that thing through into the engine compartment?

Keith,
You are too kind. Pure brilliance to some is shadetree engineering to others.

I found that draping the hose down behind the intake manifold (left side) caused the end to appear in the area where a hose or two enter the engine compartment. Tried it three times and each time I crawled underneath, the 90 degree end was hanging in plain view.

Andreas, do you know if the parts (previously listed) are good to go, on the turbo? Thanks

The 993 slave & the 993 turbo slave appear very different due the turbo's pressure-assist feature. Do you know if the bleed nipple faces forward or towards the wheel well? If it faces forward I'd say the line & fittings I describe should work just fine. If the nipple faces towards the LR wheel well, you would opt for the 36" line with straight AN-3 fittings on both ends.

This is the M6 to AN-3 adapter I used to replace the stock bleed nipple:
