I finally got around to it and put on the C2S decklid today and it looks great!

Must ...control ...garage envy ....oooh!
Enjoy that, wow!

Technically yesterday….but just now sitting down to post. Quick backstory…took the 993 to my previously trusted(and extremely well known) mechanic almost 4 hours away. Took months to schedule a loaner…suspension change was planned, with a few other smallish items. I posted some of the sorted details on a previous thread.

Anyway, pre-service questions from the service manager, not the owner/mechanic that I only previously dealt with, made me cancel the service entirely. Picked the car up on a warm day, windows down…good drive home.

Move forward a couple of weeks, afternoon into a cool evening drive…stop for dinner and drinks, and I need the defroster when I get back in the car. Very minimal air out the top…defrost button doesn’t work either.

A quick search a few days later, leads to a fault in the rear fan. Not only did the rear fan not turn on with the defroster button, the second you rotated the temp dial…the frunk fans shut off.

Anyway, the fix was easy…the main plug to the fan was unplugged. Vibration, or age don’t do that….a $hit shop with unscrupulous mechanics does that.

Click back together…and all fixed.

PM me if your interested in the name of this CT shop.

That is how my dad involved me around cars and how I got the cars' virus. I was just grabbing tools for him

Couple years back I wanted to try aligning my car - it is about the only thing I had to pay someone else to do. So I became a master you tube watcher and bought some posh string.

Many, many, many hours later I was pleased with the way the car felt, I patted myself on the back.

But, I wanted to see how far out I had set everything, so off it went and basically my alignment guy said absolutely do not quit that day job. Even if it is ****.

No hesitation this time, off it went this morning for a ride height tweak and full alignment incl kinematic.

Love the clean, narrow, lines

I must have missed the thread - what wheels are those, and the rear width and offset please?

That's funny...I was thinking about doing the same BUT based on your post, I may be scheduling with my Indy. Car looks awesome ?

Thanks Mr.Curry! They are TechArt Daytona by Speedline, so period correct which I like.
JimD built them for me with the centers in Stahlgrau.
Front: 8.25 x 18 ET52 with MPS4S 225/40
Rear: 10 x 18 ET60 with MPS4S 265/35
A lot more curvy than my previous RH3.6:

New plug wires, motor sound airbox, spoiler mechanism repair and installed stage 2 Fiter mufflers. I won't be doing plug wires at home again, that was alot more difficult that I expected. And the number 6 boot was nearly inposible to change out. Mostly because someone (not me) had stripped the bolts on the passenger side muffler bracket, wich meant access to that area was limited. I had a have a mechanic friend come help with that one. But it's done and I'm happy with the result. Audio system is next, then a suspension refresh.

been all of 11 minutes, and I’m the first person to say…you need a Pad Keeper. David, your losing your touch!

Must be my lucky day, think I’ll go play the lottery

FYI…great product. Likely with almost as many threads about it as engine undertray, and what oil to use.

True. I had one on my 964, it really cleaned things up visually. I'll add it to the list.
