Do you have sport cats (x-pipe) as well? I just received the Cargraphic exhaust with the controllable flaps. I also have Fabspeeds sports cats and I can't wait to see the difference.

I replaced a broken air deflector lever. It broke one when I tried to close the sunroof at 95 mph.
One of the easiest project to do with a pair of levers in one package.
Two screws from the top with the sunroof open, remove the broken lever, and install a new lever. Two screws and done.

Changed oil today with Mahle filter made in Austria
All this recent talk about Austrian-made Mahle filters vs Chinese made Mahle filters got me thinking that I need to change the oil, overdue by a few months (I do it once a year). My main hang-up on this job was getting the fender liner back in place, finally did it. I used my last Austrian- made filter so I got another coming from Delaware Porsche. I skipped the small filter this round because of the low miles since the last change back in May of 2022. I switched from my old standby Mobil One 20W50 to Mobil One 15W50.

I bought my 993 Cab in 2021. I've always DIY'ed almost everything on my prior 997, but for some reason I was kind of intimidated by the 993 and let mechanics do all the initial "sorting" work -- new brakes, belts, exhaust, plus an oil change last year. This year my local shop quoted over $500 (!!) for a simple oil change so I decided it's finally time to learn to wrench on my 993. I did the oil change yesterday and it was super satisfying and actually not that difficult! It took about 4 hours because I'm generally slow with car work. It's certainly the hardest oil change of any car I've ever owned, but the online DIY guides were insanely helpful and each step went off without a hitch. Still kind of mad about the placement of the small oil filter, though! The shop that installed it put it on quite tightly so pulling it off was really difficult with my limited selection of hand tools. Beyond that, I was actually shocked that disassembling so many pieces off a 28-year-old car was so simple. After tax and everything, I think close to $400 saved!
