replaced my Motorsound tips with OEM 993 big ovals from Gert in Belgium. I will clean up the Motorsound tips and upload for cheap sale.
i have a DACH x-pipe that replaced the catalyst (still have that) and the alignment because of the X-pipe makes the passenger tip stick about 1/2 “ farther out but later I’ll modify the tube leaving the passenger side OEM “gutted” muffler can (also made by the DACH dude) to address that.

before and after pics attached.

you have to love the German term for exhaust tip 😊

tomorrow my poly RS sideskirts from Better Bodies get here 🤤

Why the change? The old ones look great.

thanks!

they do look great but I am on the slippery slope of continually adding RS parts to this RS clone and the RS came with wide ovals

they are in good shape, I polished them and listed on the member sale forum and hopefully someone can use them.

New to me 993. New Bilstein, replaced all engine belts, new tires, alignment, flushed and bleed brake system, replace front and rear hood struts, oil and filter, replace tail pipes and replaced air cover. Fister 2 coming next week.

I received a new Quickjack and hooked it up today in the hopes of installing the Fister SSK and Goldenrod in my car and to my disappointment, one of the female quick connects of the hydraulic line won't engage with the male connector. I ordered a replacement from Summit, but it won't come until Thursday. Meh.

Changed the oil today. Even with a lift (4 post though) it's a bit of a deal with the 993 with the two filters, 2 drain plugs and lots of stuff in the way... So much easier on my other cars.

My kids were also not very helpful...

What do I see, another 40-something 993 owner with little kids! I love to see it, I thought I was in the minority here.

when my kids were that young I had to plan my wrenching carefully while they were gone somewhere or at school. As they got older they were able to help me wrench and it was fun to teach them but I had to give them simple short things to do or they quickly lost interest. Also I hear you on the 993 oil change being a PIA. My 85 911 was much easier! I ended up having the Porsche dealer change my 993 oil while they were doing a valve cover gasket replacement. Expensive but I was too busy to wrench and wanted my 993 cab available and ready to drive for the good weather we only have here in the PNW for a few months a year!

My C4S came with a turbo tail from prior ownership (not sure if Nurburger put it on or someone before) but either way, I love the turbo tail... But I also love the C2S split grille. Lucky for me, Nurburger was kind enough to include a C4S and C2S decklid when I bought the car from him 11+ years ago and I've been meaning to get them painted the correct color to have options. I finally got around to it and put on the C2S decklid today and it looks great!

Rudy - the turbo tail was put on by the previous owner at the same time as the front bumperette delete was carried out. I was never keen on the turbo tail and can't remember why on earth I didn't have the C2S lid painted and installed back then.

I can't imagine why you would ever take the C2S lid off again - it looks absolutely amazing. Enjoy!
