I had a busy and productive weekend.

Picked up my 993 on Friday. It was in the shop getting a the steering rack rebuilt and then a subsequent alignment. It was in there for a few months due to some supply chain issues with some of the seals they needed. Picked it up right before the snow hit heavy. Good timing. But I did have my 17" Cup IIs with Sottozero3s on.

And then on Saturday, a friend and I installed some new Recaro Experts:

And then on Sunday, went over to my other friend's house that has a 96 C2 and we put in Fister short shift kits:

Need to do an oil change and change out a broken rocker panel and a door seal. 10 years in, here's to the next 10.

No, I did not get the "Porsche" label. Maybe I should have.

Btw did you get a sticker to go over top of the conti branding?

Q1. How do I move this post to "Installing The Continental TR7412UB-OR Radio"?
Q2. How to link this post at "Installing The Continental TR7412UB-OR Radio"?

Or should I post the entire post again at "Installing The Continental TR7412UB-OR Radio"?

Thanks.

Can you post pics of other angles, top, bottom, left, right, and back?
I have not seen any backside pic of 993 Vario engine.
Sorry for asking so many!

Beautiful build! Not sure if you’re willing to share the cost and the exact components to build this beauty. Looking to do something similar in the future.

Thank you.
So Nice!
I drive my 97 993 every single day no matter what the weather is.
But, with this clean engine, I can imagine giving up driving and admire the engine in my living room.

R&R'd and rebuilt the steering rack, flushed system, new reservoir and fresh pentosin. Would never wish this project on anyone. But all is well again, no leaks and working just right.
