I pulled out the rear luggage dump and began to recover it with full yard of new black sliverknit from World Upholstery. Porsche really put these together and it was a bear getting it prepped for the new carpet. Tomorrow I glue the carpet onto the plywood platform (fingers crossed).
Changed the oil.
My new lift bars and form-a-funnel made the job so much easier and though not completely clean was much cleaner. Esco jackstands + "porken" lift bars Form-a-funnel
I'll say this, there is nothing easy or enjoyable about changing the oil. I do it to save $$, but I hate it. Ugh! That "form a funnel" thing looks cool. Might have to get one.

form a funnel is really a must have for the 993, I use if for the sump tank, the engine drain plug to avoid it going all over the exhaust pipes (basically a straight squirt onto them without directing it somehow) and to help direct the small filter removal draining. Agreed its not a fun project, but at least fingers crossed, its getting done correctly vs. INdy that may not be spending the time to ensure they don't overfill it.
FINALLY got that stubborn crank pulley bolt out for the Clewett install. Good tools are worth their weight in gold. Thanks, @andreas. While I'm in there, all new gaskets and hardware for the cam chain housings, as they were weeping a bit.
Now, the Rennline engine carrier reinforcement gets welded up and it, the fan housing, and the chain covers all go off for powder coating.
Dabbed a little lithium grease on the belt sensor, eliminating the whistle noise and then drove it to the airstrip to get surpass 250 hours in a nice v tail bonanza!
Replaced my clear corner lens with orange - I think orange suits the guards red better.
I contemplate going back to orange as well. I do like the look with the standard fogs but I think with the S ducts there is not as much clear lense going on.
