New gaskets and grommets for the timing chain covers and resealed the chain tensioner oil bridges.

Looks damn good! Care to share the link to the emblems?

- Front seats installed, with some 3/8" spacers to bring them up a tad
- Cut some pieces of remnant carpet left over from my Lakewell kit to hide the wiring harnesses seen between the sills and seat rails
- Installed rear deck, rear seat backs and seat belts
- Fixed some boogered threads on one of the rear seat belt anchors
- Fresh factory mats
- Made vroom-vroom sounds and relished in the fact that my interior is finally almost done... (doors mainly, along with shifter and e-brake handle install)

Thanks!

I actually bought them off eBay for ~$33. Almost 1/3 OEM price. The seller I bought them from periodically offers them for sale - they are the genuine OEM matte black emblem set. He's apparently sold out, but if you monitor eBay, he'll usually get them back in. I'll PM you his name, since I'm not sure about Rennlist rules about eBay sellers. There are others selling the same thing, but for more money. Search "black Porsche emblem letters".

PM sent.

Thanks, hard to believe how much has gone into it. Should have been a quick two month project that turned into nine thanks in large part to the pandemic.

To date:

- replaced front and back glass myself
- new seals on quarter glass
- ripped out the mixed bag of very ill fitting RS carpet kit in the rear along with a cheap quality aftermarket carpet kit in the front
- re-installed the factory rear soundproofing
- re-installed the rear seats after I did them in Alcantara and along with the seat back centers
- needed to weld in the center seat anchor for the rear seats (and my TIG welder was on the fritz; needed to wait almost a month for a part)
- covered lower dash in Alcantara
- ripped all the ill fitting "Alcantara" (actually some faux suede stuff) off the dashboard, door/quarter tops and center console; re-covered in real Alcantara so it all matched
- new RS door cards (about to be installed)
- re-covered center dash pieces and gauge cluster in same black vinyl Bob (AppBiz) used on the door cards
- replaced all the gauge bezels with new black ones instead of the grey Carrera S ones (were all scratched up) and also re-did my gauge needles
- new stereo and speakers
- rear speaker delete and rear deck recovered in Alcantara
- new steering wheel + airbag module bypass and pass airbag removed
- factory Porsche mats
- re-finished Tequipment shifter/ebrake in black powder coat

A bunch of other little BS to get it to this point as well. I've got a bunch of photos and will dump them into a thread soon.

That is a great list of some good maintenance and nice upgrades in just a couple of months. Must feel good to have a lot of that behind you.
