For those who are desperately trying to get the original Tequipment **** but would be OK with yours, could you please share the ebay seller contact? if they still have some? Thanks

This looks great! Any ideas where I can get a Rootwood shift **** for a 993? Seems impossible to find.

Opened up the speedo to fix trip odometer not working, already purchased parts from odometer gears. After I opened it up appears someone already had replaced the gears before, no scratches or bezel edge bends to clue me in, gears all nice and white. So I go to put the new gears in exactly like I removed the existing ones. Started putting it back together but stopped. I re watched a couple of videos and finally figured out what was bothering me. The small trip odo gear was in upside down. Maybe that is why it didn't work after I reset it ( back when it "broke")? Got in there and fixed my error. Both odometers working now.

Replaced my front control arm bushings. Went well, took 4 hours, included all the necessary cleaning.
The grease that comes with the new bushings is soooo sticky. Gets all over your hands, tools, bench, etc. etc. Or maybe I'm just messy. I have a bunch of cleaning to do tomorrow!

Pulled off the belts, fan, a/c, alternator, mufflers, cats, heat shields, heat tube, engine tins, engine carrier, all in prep for the Clewett crank pulley install.
Thanks for the tool, Andreas. <-- This guy is an amazing resource to this forum. Seriously.
Plus, while I'm in there and all that stuff is out, new cam chain housing cover gaskets.
Plus a repaint of the deck lid.
Getting ready for Fahrspaß 2022.
