Default 993 Guards Red - First Air-Cooled

Hello all,

I wanted to share my new 993 Guards Red 1995 911 C2. I have been bitten by the Porsche bug / addiction this year at age 44. I have been a committed BMW driver for over 20+ years. I am fortunate to grab a 997.2 and a 993 in one year both under 18K miles. I’ve learned so much from Rennlist boards...

my 993 got the nicest queen treatment, full Suntek film paint protection and titanium ceramic coating. It’s incredible how it preserves the originality of this amazing piece of engineering!

love to hear feedback.

that’s a nice looking NB. I like the 911 emblem on the rear deck lid even if that was not original to the car. Baskethandle!!! I’ve debated getting a new deck lid sans baskethandle but it’s growing on me.

Is there a special setting you used to get your new red car to look like a toy? Am I imagining that?

Haha - it’s filters in the iPhone 11... I played a bit with saturation, etc... I assume you are referencing this picture .... attached original color for you.

thanks unicorn, this car is fully unmolested. I am not a purist, but for some reason I have become one because of this car. I thought I would upgrade the lid to split, but love the basket-handle pride in this being first year I’d the 993. So it is staying!

the 911 black emblem in Matt black is also unbelievable although this car was ordered with emblem delete - I added the 911 and so many compliments already. Some pictures just snapped for you!

you are not imagining - this is iPhone 11 filter settings that I enjoy playing with. Here is the original picture for your comparison. Enjoy!
