Default 1997 Carrera S Widebody For Sale

I have one I need to sell. As a long standing RL member I figured I would pop this up in here before I start an all out campaign to sell it. I would really like for the car to go to a good home vs some jackhole that came into a few bucks and wont give the car the care it deserves.

Now, I don't know a ton about it. Its my dads car. I came from 944/968 MB and Audi back ground. But Ive known the car since it was delivered. Not a scratch on it. 47K miles and some change. Motor sound package. Supercups. Good tires. It was a special order car and knowing pops he didn't skimp on anything. To my knowledge its never seen rain. Last price check I asked for says $45K. Just thought id give you guys first dibs.

I drove it to the lake today just to keep the battery charged and keep things lubed. These are the 3 crap pics I took before I put it back up. PM.

$45k is a great price. Should sell very fast if it passes PPI.

a one owner sub 50K mile 2S for $45K...that's leaving a TON of money on the table in todays market. The big hitters would list that for $65K, PP sale mid 50's eeeeeasy.

Well I put up a price check a while back and you guys tagged it at 45K ish Im not out screw anyone but Im not trying to squeeze every nickel out of it either. But I know air cooled priced have been going up it seems as of late. A fair price plus even a discount is all im asking for. If mid 50s is a good PP sale then im good with a fair offer.

I really don't have the time to ebay it. And like I said, Id like it to go to a good home. But the money is going to keep my father in assisted living.

wow, looks like hardback sport seats, and are those possibly Speedline wheels? Good Luck with the sale, this should be gone in about a half hour, if it's not even sold by now!!!

I got everyones PMs. Before I move forward on anything I want to check a couple things out. I don't want to sign my name off on a car I cant vouch for. The OD wasn't working today. I know its in the 45K to 50K mile range but I just want to run the VIN to be certain. Its got to be sold, so ill be back with you guys. I just want to know what im working with. And im sure a buyer would appreciate that as well. Just gotta go back up to pops house for the vin. But I can have that done by tomorrow.

Great price on a great color combo too. I hope it does not go to a reseller that can make 10k by just flipping it.

Great looking car. Hope it goes to a Keeper, not a flipper.

This car will get flipped for 15k margin. It's like getting a free Rolex Daytona with a wide body purchase. GLWS.
