I assume those wheels are 18" Kenesis Supercup 's, they do have a 17" center IIRC. A Speedline replica, just slightly out of proportion with the smaller center.

If the seller sells it to me it's not getting flipped... It's going to come to a good home. I've been looking for a long time for a car like this! I would love to pay for a PPI and make a real offer!

It seems that I PM'd him and replied here within a minute (literally) of the posting but who knows in what order he will contact everyone!

I assume you mean odometer, and not OBD...On Board Computer?

Relitively common problem, if it is the odo... broken small plastic gear, can be a DIY, or sent out for repair. Not terribly expensive. The speedo was working, correct?

If the funds are truly going to fund your Dad's assisted living expenses push for every penny you can get and start a bidding war. Don't leave room for someone else to profit as that money could be used to help your Dad. Sorry to all those interested but it is absolutely the right thing to do in this particular case. GLWS and please hold out for every penny you can get for your Dad's sake.

The 1st guy who PM-ed the seller should get 1st dibs.

But the price should be way, way, way higher than $45k, assuming clean title and no significant issue w/ PPI.

I have no dog in this fight, but hate to see someone taken advantage of, especially when the funds are used for a senior in need.

Don't sell it for a penny less than $58k.

+993. Pause and step back. The enormous amount of PM's, emails, phone calls, etc. that I assume you got on this car within minutes of posting this thread should have been your red flag.

Assuming you weren't in the know on 993 pricing you should not feel bad for a second about taking it off the market. Do your research and put it back on at fair market price. A 2S with sport seats and no stories is quickly becoming a very difficult car to find.

As far as anyone is concerned, this is a pricing thread, not a for sale thread. Pretty sure the OP has a good sample size to make a decision. Good luck with your sale and my best wishes to your father and family.

The person who wants this car will have to pay a FAIR price and not think "I will be getting one for a significantly cheaper than market price". If you bought this off guys like Sloan you know what you will have to pay!
I agree with some of the comments, every $ pays for "pop's" care so the seller should NOT sell below market price.

Fixin. I think you are a 968 guy from memory. You are waay under on price.
Sorry to those that have PM'd but need to be fair to a lister and tell him that he's under market.
This should get 55k easy. You should update your price, and not feel bad about it.
Be straight up about it, folks should understand.

Fixin. Check whether it has hardbacks as someone noted it might have. Couldn't see from the pic, but that will raise the price further IMO.

Correct. The only guy that would complain about you raising your price to fair market value is the guy that thought he was about to win the lottery. It seems you are in a hurry, but take a little time to put a fair price on the car that does not screw you or the buyer. If those are real Speedline Supercups, that is an adder (take a picture of one of the wheels, we are looking for a script on the lip that says something like "Speedline for Porsche" (I know I got that wrong but there should be a script). If it has hardback sport seats, that is an adder (again, take a picture of the back of the seats). When you go up to get the VIN, take a picture of the option code sticker - it is located under the front hood.

This thing is probably worth 57-62k depending on if it's got hard back seats and condition of the consumables, service history, etc...a dealer might be able to ask for more but they'd probably have to ship it overseas to get it...
