Marc and Robin got around to hanging the driver's door today, all of a sudden it's starting to look like a car again. The calipers were re-assembled with new dust seals; we'll clean up the front discs before it's fiished, there are new discs & pads on the way for the rear. Oil tank cleaned and ready to fit, Marc just cleaning up the thermostat housing by hand, ready to fit it onto the oil tank.

How about this? Since this is going to be our show car we have had a metal stamp made to de-boss the new 9m logo into the leather of the steering wheel horn push and a larger one for the seat backs. This is what it looks like in the leather after a quick cold impression in our hydraulic press - better results will be achieved hot with an overnight set. What do you think?

We're planning a similar logo for the tacho along with the Speedster S insignia.

Mind you, we're only going if we can reserve the parking spot right outside the restaurant, so best get Graham to pre-book a limmo to wait for us to arrive, then pull out as we turn up to park.
