The horn contact isn't making consistent contact with the gold part of the hub. It is contacting the black plastic ring that is on the inside of the gold ring on the hub....like it isn't offset far enough to the outside. Someone described this same thing earlier in this thread or another thread. I'm not sure of the final solution.

Are you placing the contact in the correct hole? I've done this install on 3 different cars and never experienced this issue...

You're not alone. Try pulling the brass contact out a bit and use some contact grease.

Here's a great explanation with photo from Tom Bennett. It's a 964, but same issue. Very common. https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...ml#post9153705.

The aftermarket Momo 7004 hub is different vs the OEM RS hub.

Yep, I had seen that thread. I’m bending the contact and trying the find the sweet spot for the switch gear position before tightening the bolt.

Did you get an aftermarket Momo hub in Carnewal’s kit or the RS OEM hub as ToSi just referenced?

I purchased the Carnewal kit. Took us a half hour to find the sweet spot.

If anyone is installing this wheel and needs the plugs shown below, let me know and I'll send them to you. I only have these two.

Whats the difference between a 2.8 ohm vs 2.8k ohm resistor? Are they the same thing? Having a hard time finding a 2.8 ohm 1/4 watt resistor online.
If anyone has extra plugs like Chuck had above^. I would purchase them from you. Thanks!
