Still no idea what you meant to say though, sorry

Have you looked at a Tequipment options page/listings?

Tequipment book is full of options and "after the fact" modifications.

Is there a part number for the "KIT" to order from parts department or is there an "OPTION" code for the build sheet of the car for production?

You may be looking at a book of options that the dealer or shop of your choice can "ALTER" the original form of your car.

Many of the items in that little book are options too;

Litronic
color creasts
carbon fiber trim
etc, etc, etc,

A good place to start is,

are there part numbers for these items or option codes for a build sheet?

Part numbers..........

You can call a dealer order any of these parts and have them installed, by anyone at any time.

This kit was not offred from 1995 to 1998 (in kit form, with the intent to modify a NB)

It was never an option on the original build.

Heck, we didn't even have PET back then........
Microfisch for everything.... till about 99 or so

Tequipment was a paper book

Pervy,

I have a copy of what is listed in the Tequipment brochure too for the year my car was built. My CoA states AeroKit 2. The options are X61, X62, and X76. The code for the kit on my build is Y02. If anyone else has similar codes with an Aerokit 2 on their CoA - please step forward. I'm confused myself until others with similar codes and factory builds come forward and share the facts on their unique builds with pics.

I'm sure it's a bad time to say this .... but a thread " Show us your FACTORY Aerokit" might be appropriate with a listing of codes, pics, and CoA. Since the CoA is factory installed - we could document all the flavors and we could find others with very similar cars.

Sorry, i'm just a simple old school Englishman and get a little confused by :-

Don't fight me, im trying to help you.
1 Turbo bumper cover has never been used on a NB from the factory.
2 The point is the NB cars did not come with turbo bumpers.
3 We are lost in the terms option v dealer modification.
4 The factory did install aero kits.

My C of A says my car has Aero Kit II but i see there is no such thing.

PS what is the meaning of 'getting trolled'?

Ref your post 26 - I have the same codes as you on my Aero Kit II C of A :- x61, x62 and x76.
You can see a photo of my black 993 earlier in this thread, the front and rear are clearly shown - is it the same as your car?

I think if you do a little checking on Techart you will learn why they used aero kit II on your CoA. It was a very rare spoiler that was almost identical to the aero kit I.

1 100% true
2 100% true
3 100% true
4 100% true, but not the "turbo look narrow body aero kit"

I just don't understand the confusion here, that is why I thought you may be messing around other wise knowen as trolling.

dpowell, please post pictures of your car and tell us about the accedent history.
It would have saved on the confusion of what is original.

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...r-spoiler.html

Your car was reworked as a faux "S"

There ya go man. Thats what your car used to look like.

Your spoiler was swaped out for an "S" and so was your front bumper cover. All modifications and or repairs.

Techart Aero kit II spoiler with out 3rd brake light, for 96- NB coupes

ORIGINAL TO YOUR CoA

AND NOW

I don't want to come off rude, but no need to go on a crusade to find that this is not original.

That spoiler is now known as coming from the Aero Kit 1, the one with the 3rd brake light in it is from the Aero kit 1b, maybe thats the confusion, the name of the kits has changed?
