Default Was turbo front bumper ever a C2 option?

Would love to install a turbo front bumper if it was ever offered as an option on a 993 C2. Would someone enlighten me on this please. Thank you.

It was not ever officially offered as an option as far as I know. But you can buy it, and it fits all variants of the 993. Just as an example, look up Gert Carnewal's site...

I doubt it very much, even as a special order. IIRC, Porsche didn't recommend anything they didn't test, and just having the Turbo front bumper cover on a NB wasn't aerodynamically tested. It will fit just fine, but you'll need to change out the forward fender liners and a few other do-dads.

It was actually part of the Aero Kit 2 package. I have it on my 1996 NB. The option on my order for that part was X71 as part of the kit. I don't believe it was orderable by itself.

^^^Thanks, X. That seems to confirm that Turbo front bumper covers were not available from the factory either separately or with any of the aero kits on NB cars. Correct?

My 1996 NB Aero Kit 2 built in Jan of 96 came with...
- US turbo bumper (bumperettes and no turbo S air ducts)
- Aero Kit 1B rockers (which are really skirts)
- Turbo S rear spoiler
