That is a beautiful, tastefully done 993!

First time I've seen the CF interior matched with the aluminum trim gauges and it does work very well on your car. My car already came with alum rings, I was thinking of removing them once CF is added, but possibly change of mind now.

Hi Knight.

My experience is that if you remove the alloy rings you will find the black painted surrounds are damaged from the adhesive holding the rings in place. Unfortunately the factory black rings are a soft metal, and the paint on top of them very fragile. I cant go back to the factory black rings underneath now even if I wanted to....

Nice shots M! How was the backdrop set-up? Was it curved from the wall to the floor?

Thanks all. Camlob it was white painted and curved as you say - a three sided room inside a massive warehouse and the photographer shot it with an Canon L series 1-300mm zoom telephoto lens, long distances out, up high and down low etc with two remote triggered umbrella stand commercial bounce flash units. It was facinating to watch. He was very quick the whole thing taking less then 4 hours an 190 shots. At least 50 shots were amazing and I got a whole host of detail shots taken too. It was an interesting experience...

Macca as in "Triathlete Legend Macca"? Sweet ride. Very tasteful. Trying to be patient for my own 993 C2 that I can modify.

Hi Brian. No I'm not a triathlete sorry. Best of luck with the hunt for a C2. It will be worth the wait....
