Very nice. A bit lower would be cool.
Back in the day I built '69, '70 & '73 Cal-Look bugs
followed by '67 912 & '75 914 2.0

Other than the wheels I dig every bit of it. (Fuchs?!?)

I would really love a set of early Fuchs but they aren't really easy to get in the "wide five" bolt pattern. I'm thinking about a set of 356 style steel wheels and Porsche center caps as a mood changer. The car needs to come down about 2-3" in front so I may swap out the spindles so as not to trash the overall ride. Right now I need to fix a few small items that are going to make me crazy!!! Hopefully the weather cooperates and I'll be able to take some real pictures this weekend...

Very nice!! I like your additions...very period looking. We used to have a '57 Oval window that my grandfather bought new in '57. Sold it a few years back....big mistake.

BTW - Back in highschool, we had the same roof rack on my brothers '70 bug that peeled off the roof (fully loaded) at 65 MPH and proceed to flatten like a pancake when it hit the pavement and spun down the road. No one behind us....whew. Very funny moment. Stuffed everything into the car and laughed our a$$ for the next 20 miles.
