This thread is getting me wanting another VW Thing or a Bug w/ the fenders chopped off and the exhaust pipe sticking way up in the air.

OK... So I've just ordered a wood slat EMPI style roof rack, Sprint Star wheels, Swan neck mirrors and possibly factory style gravel guards...

We can always ask the admin to add a new section to the forum for the "Original Porsche"...

Damn, that didn't take long. I'll let it slide... this time.
Go to Target and get one of those big plastic containers to keep all the original parts in. Thanks!

Sweet...
You're going to have to put a mezzanine in your shop to hold all of your cars... I guess it is a good thing they are all small.

I was 13 when I received that bad boy. Loved it for three years and sold it to a buddy for $50.

Where are you staying in Miami? I'm only about 5-10 minutes from MIA. We will definitely have to meet in person...

Man, it makes me want to find a bug as a project car. First car I bought was a 71 VW, turned it into a baja. Lost count of the VW's I have had. Maybe I should find a fixer upper for my spare 3.6
Cheers,
Emerald
