I'll take the yellow RS in the background please. Just put it in a container for me.

The custom angle of that windshield determines the bow in the top. Those spacers are critical to getting that top to match the door window lines. Looking extremely good!

Lee's been busy with the polishing mop so we now have a nice, shiny pair of doors waiting to be built & fitted.

Robin is finishing off the boot (hood) aperture, hence the wiring, heater system, petrol tank and ABS system is all finally fitted.

Marc is working on the electrics under the dash, removing the old non-standard alarm wiring and making good the original car loom before reinstating the Porsche full closure alarm package.

As I walked past the car 10 minutes ago the engine was cranking on the key and would have started if there was fuel in the tank.

Awesome Colin. Love the tach. Are you using the original doors or are you using the CF doors used in the RSR?

That SY RS in the background is a stunner.

The doors are from an original 964 Speedster, hence steel; we did not use carbon because weight saving was not a primary goal of the project.

I agree, the SY 993RS (rhd) is a stunner; we're just doing a front the windscreen aperture repaint on it before there was any chance of corrosion setting in an causing damage.

Colin - I have to say - I am so impressed with the quality and speed of you and your shops work! I live in Los Angeles and we have our pick of Auto Body shops and none of them compare to yours...It seems like a project like this would take years instead of months here stateside...almost makes me want to ship you my P-car for a Speedster conversion..I am sure your shop is much more reasonable than the factory (if they'd ever agree to do a Speedster conversion).

Too bad you're not in LA...My 993, '72 RS and '69 Camaro could all benefit from a shop like yours!

Sincerely,

Damien Lewis
