Fellow RLer Edgy01 recently tried to work his connections toward futuristic Fuchs for me & Monterey, but no luck for now.
He then recommended his friends at LindseyRacing.com, who have been updating original Fuchs centers to larger wheels for years. Unfortunately, Mike Lindsey said 17" is their largest.
Oh, well - all we can do is try. Dan's a great man!

Soundbites, as I recall:
He has a lot of experience making wheels & updating Fuchs.
Said two 993 owners just stopped for updated Fuchs (I wonder if they saw Group911@aol.com's post?; regardless, fascinating timing!), but they didn't have realistic expectations.
Said Fuchs-style >17" is 'engineering impossibility' due to dramatically different offsets on old 911s compared to 993s & newer.
We had a good long chat, & he eventually brought up Mike Lindsey; I was impressed that he had the professionalism to compliment a competitor.
Oh well ... Another door closed, & another reason to keep luvin' the Turbo Twist II's for now!
Dan-- Thanks for taking the time to photoshop the Fuchs style onto the Speedster.
Anybody have time to photoswap the 2nd photo option's onto it, too?

Fuchs (USA) is wrestling with this issue and actually have solved it. If I can get his permission I'll try to scan in some images from his buisness catalog. The Cayman with Fuchs looks incredible!

Hi Curve Lover
Well what have you got me started on! Always loved the look of a Speedster, and this has just given me the inspiration I needed! I have just shelled out a large wedge of cash and bought doors, screen with surround and emergency roof, hump, various seals and metalwork to start my own 993 Speedster project. Just trying to source the 'right' base car! Also need to decide wide or narrow body with the RS look. Decisions decisions...

The following are 17" & 18". Ironically, they plan to have their 1st 19" set completed mid-Aug. Fascinating timing .... wonder if they could be in Monterey before Aug 14??? Hmmm.

Mike-- Thanks for your recent PM. I just received the below photographs from PSAutoArt.com, & zapped them a response.
