Most if not all modifications were performed by France's "Carrosserie Stephan."
Here are my last two shots, before 'surgery.'

Unless anyone has more info or pics to show of this '86 3.2L cab transformed to 993 Speedster, we'll call this chapter of the photo thread closed. Thanks to JPP & his friend for motivating me to finally dig into my photo album & share shots ... for the last three pages
(What's next? )

Following up on Jon Paul's above mention of the Seinfeld Speedster:
1st produced with a 3-spoke steering wheel overseas, then changed to a four-spoke carbon wheel in the U.S.

Asked when it was published, Adrian told me it's the interior after a friend's 993 cabrio had work performed by Porsche Exclusive. He gave no information regarding its Speedster appearance.

^^So, has Porsche AG ever released any photo's of the car Exclusive built for Ferry's 90th, the one mentioned in the annotation in Streather's book that is Black with a grey top and brown interior with wood accents? It's interesting that now, in the brochure for the 2011 Speedster, they only lay claim to Butzi's and Jerrys cars and don't acknowledge any more factory conversions .....

Default WHITE!

OMG, I can't believe I'm in possession of possibly the ONLY picture of a 993 Speedster that Jäger MAY NOT have already seen or has hidden away in his super-secret, encrypted and completely exclusive photo vault!

Direct to you, from some dark and lonely storage garage in Europe some place ... I bring you this narrow bodied White beauty

p.s. Thanks for letting me post this, Arpad, you're the best

Popester-- Finally showing some potential!
Keep this up this level of performance, & I can see you joining the Speedster Club, type 993 someday

Arpad-- Great teamwork.
I luv your White Beauty!

Speaking of colors, guesses for what color is this? ...no not 'black & white'

Great guess ... same that I thought.
I was surprised to find it's MUCH lighter, closer to your White Beauty ... would you believe yellow?!

Amazing how a photographer's decision to use black & white processing can alter perspective so powerfully.

I eventually confirmed it's this, in my 'super-secret, encrypted and completely exclusive photo vault' for years:

Arpad only owns the photograph, not the actual car in the picture which I believe was taken somewhere in Germany?? ... (Butzi's car might have a skinny sister ... Shhhhhh ...)

Here's the car I thought was in the picture ...

... I'm getting the impression that you are "developing" your photography skills and knowledge for a happy 'super secret, encrypted and completely exclusive' future in automotive journalism ...

Picture's White Beauty. Again: great teamwork + hope you join the club & get Speedster a la 993 in your garage soon.

Hopefully we'll know soon

RP-- Decided whether to go with blue, orange, or white, etc. for your Speedster?

Wow, nearly perfect guess -- and you just reminded me they have a key component in common, IIRC.

Plus, thanks for the blast from the past back to page 6 of this thread:

That really sounds great, I'd love to do something more productive with my 993 Speedster fascination + photography, but first I haz to get skillz

If you ever get a Speedstser I can practice on, please let me break the world-exclusive story & shoot the world's first 993 Pope-mobile, the "Popester"

I have photography interest, but lacking knowledge / experience. Mostly a hack.

A true photog originally posted the black & white shot, which drove me crazy trying to find more images of the same Speedster; I assumed it couldn't be this yellow one because the b&w print looked so dark.
Possibly because of my lack of photo developing / processing knowledge, I had a heck of a time 'til I finally realized it was a car I already had lots of shots of; right in front of my face for years
