Not very flashy or exciting, I'm an Institutional Locksmith at a large medical center complex.
My forte is writing key schedules for new construction.
I recently completed a high-security key system schedule for our 385,000 sq ft children's hospital.
No key? - No problem!

I am a Civil Engineer (grading, drainage, earthwork, retaining walls, improvement plans). About to partner with 2 other engineers and see where that takes us. I have 6 years experience in survey/civil and we have about 45 years experience between the 3 of us. We are starting to have a presence in the South Bay area.
The goal in the back of my head is to develop small hillside tracts as we get near the bottom of real estate.

Wow - what a variety of professions, however I did notice a theme of engineers and airline pilots! (speaks to the 993)
I work as an auditor for a big four accounting firm in the Boston area. I specialize in high-tech companies from large publics to VC backed tech startups.
I think we need all need a Linked-in group!
Regards,
Kevin

My turn,
Working as a trainee solicitor here in Ireland. However, thanks to our wretched economy I've virtually no chance of employment once I'm qualified. One eye firmly on the US post qualification. Any of you lawyers want to give me a job!
I have a PPL and do a lot of local VFR flying in a C172SP. Nothing like flying in Ireland. Currently studying for the ATLP exams in my free time, more for the knowledge than a change in career, but never say never!
No P-car (yet!) as I've been in full time education since finishing school seven years ago. I've read and learned a lot from this wonderful forum so when it comes time to buy I'll be coming here for advice.
Slán!

I'm a marketing manager focused on the financial services industry for a privately held software firm headquartered in the Triangle area of NC. I previously worked for large information technology firms ending up at a firm that started in a garage and whose founders sold technology used to make a famous animated film...way before Star Wars.

Interesting thread for sure....
Started out as an aerospace and mechanical engineer. Decided that I wanted to fly the machines that I learned to design and became a naval aviator. Currently a flight instructor training the next generation of carrier pilots. Can't get enough of flying...
While confined to the ground, I get my kicks out in the 993 It's the closest thing!

ok - i am partners in a business that supplies race car fabrication parts. Mostly "plumbing". Fuel, cooling system, air (turbo, supercharger piping).. Our main customer base is drag racing but we have customers all over the world that like to "Do-it-themselves". We supply a few Porsche shops in our area with parts. Don't want to step on any sponsor toes so i won't mention the name of my business.

Peptide chemist and mass spectrometrist. Not sure if that would be of interest to anyone here though, especially if you're mostly engineers and pilots. But I'm here for anyone who needs me........
