Great thread!
I have my own gas engineering and plumbing company in the uk, established in year 2000 and growing by the day. Saving to change my 993 c2 for a 993 turbo.
Cheers
Lee.

Guy,

I live in Bucks County as well so perhaps we drove 'slowly' past each other (Targa wheels on a '96 C2). I commute to Philly daily but not in the 993 (For Sale -I think?)

If you need 993 sorting advice be sure to give me a shout…

Perhaps out of ignorance, but I spent the better part of my professional life pursuing and advancing (very slowly) heart replacement therapies (mechanical and biological) -started in rocket engineering so I have no fear of fast moving objects, heights or complex machinery. I still get ‘excited’ wrenching my ‘993 and 911 (3.2L).

I used to be a .com guy. Got burnt out and went back to grad school for my Masters. I'm now a tv/film director/producer.
My Thesis film (21 min.) from AFI was recently picked up by iTunes and is available for download:
(It has been to 35 film festivals and has been recognized for 16 awards.)
--- This movie was largely financed by Boomer Esiason and it features my 1997 993 Carrera S.

Seth,

Is your film available on youtube or as an mpeg or wmv file? I'm not crazy about loading new software on my laptop but would still like to see your work.

I also thought I posted a while back. Anyhow, there are sure a lot of interesting jobs. Here's another one.

I am employed as a medical physicist in radiation oncology. We take care of the technical component of treating cancer patients with radiation. My specialty is brachytherapy, where radioactive material is implanted in the body, either permanently (prostate seeds) or temporary. Before going back to grad school, I worked as an electrical engineer doing mostly data acquisition and signal conditioning designs.

I divide my time between home in the Rheintal near the Loreley and Nuerburg, where I instruct professionally.

I am involved in the wholesale export of new cars from Germany.

Always looking for new and interesting projects...experienced in Commercial/Industrial Real Estate Brokerage

Did a bit of racing years ago, and would like to get back behind the wheel soon.

Compete in athletics as a (you guessed it) hammerwerfer.

Get in touch if you are heading to the Nuerburgring.
