Two years ago, a few of us "BAR flies" hooked up on Superbowl Sunday and drove down to Big Sur (edit...oops, i r n unjinear) for lunch at Napenthe. As I recall, "Mr. CLifton" put this one togther. It was a fun time with a nice group of cars.

When we last did this, the traffic on SR 1 was quite light and we had a great time between driving and taking in the sights. Personally I have little interest in Pro Football and would love to hook up with others who feel the same and use the time as a way to enjoy some good driving without the usual coast roads traffic.

Depending on the crowd, I have a couple of different routes to Big Sur (there are paved ways other than SR 1 the whole way..._) that could be used. More on that, if this takes off.

I would be willing to take on the logistics of making the reservations at Napenthe and planning the route if enough people show interest. Any takers????

And it'll be a bazillion Sundays before the Yorks have the 9ers in the SB again.

to watch real time,

Frankly I want to be out on the roads at 3PM. That's when they'll be the least crowded.
