fong, you need to drive more. my has 1600 miles now. 400 on LS.
run in? after 100 miles, i shift at about 6000 rpm. at 800 miles it's on the track shifting above 8000 rpm.

this friday is SV, i will not be there.
however, monday 1/31, ncrc will be at LS... i will do that one.
fong, take the gt3 out. i ran on OEM street tires.

OK. So as it looks now, we have:

On the off chance that everyone shows and we get a few additions, I will make a reservation for 10. PLEASE let me know ASAP if you drop out so I can adjust the reservation (or cancel), if need be.
As far as the plan...
I am thinking of meeting either at the Starbucks off 101 at Bernal or off the 101 in Morgan Hill. Meet timing will be around 8 to 8:30 with the understanding that we need to get on the road right around the meet time if we are going to drive the whole route I would prefer.
If we use the route I am thinking of, the drive to Big Sur will take about 3 - 3 1/2 hours with normal SANE driving. I can assure everyone that the raods and sights will be spectaclar !

Fong, was that your white GT3 I saw on 19th Avenue this morning (or was it yesterday?) on my way to school? I can't remember if we were driving our white 968 or if it was the crappy VW cabrio.
I read about this run on the BAR Yahoo list and found the thread. Is this going to be just a 993/996 run? If so, i'm ok with that. Even with 240hp, i'm not sure my 968 can keep up with a GT3 or even a stock 993.
Model-specific runs are just fine with me - we're doing a 968 run this weekend! But if the run is open to all, Katrina and I may be interested.
