Hey Jim,

I was talking to my good friend Scott (CAHRERA) and he suggested I send you a PM..

I'm having some issues with my factory alarm giving me double flashes on the L.E.D.'s and inadvertently activating (horn, lights, etc.) after being armed. I've also noticed that I'll arm the car with the key fob and immediately the L.E.D.'s will flash repeatedly for 10 -15 seconds then start single flashing..

I've read the manual and understand that the double flashes are directly related to either the doors, trunk lid, engine lid, or glove box. However, I can't seem to isolate where the problem is centered at.. I'm totally at a loss as to why it doing the repeated flashes though..

I'm to the point where I don't feel comfortable arming the car as I'm concerned the alarm will be activated falsely causing neighbors to get pissed, etc.

Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated!!
