Great color for a Porsche.

What is the cost of a paint job alone these days?

If you plan to use PPF, you need to allow the paint to cure a long time

I paid $8,000 for a C2 corvette back in 1999

In this area, a bare metal repaint is around $25k. That includes the R&R (removal/reinstall). Very labor intensive removing everything and putting it back together (lots of hours).

Since I'm more than capable of doing all the work myself, I opted to deliver them a shell so that all they needed to do was strip and paint. That saved me around half of the cost, at least on the quote... final bill, TBD.

Nose lift is TBD. I decided not to install the Turbo S front lip (at least for now).

If I put the lip on, I definitely need a nose-lift solution. May still do it anyway without the lip. If so, HybridAir cup kit for the KW V3's is my plan. Allows for some quick clearance when needed and no effect on the KW's when not in use.

Such a cool project - great to see another colour change and so thorough too!

Based on your strip-down footage on IG , this is a very generous statement!

+1 , wheels impact the look so much, though black may look a little hidden in the arches. Very interested to know what you opt for. Keep the pics coming!

LOVE the color!

My favorite Stratocaster guitar is painted the same color (..Fender's Seafoam Green), and looks great with its black pickguard.
