PTS Yellow car was really great, I actually like it as is, but it definitely had a lot of work done in its current state. Front and rear bumpers, cutting a hole in the body for the side skirts, the side skirts themselves, and it had an accident report on the CarFax. I can only imagine its price if it was totally stock and without the CarFax damage.

Covid really saved people a lot of disposable income. No fancy vacations, no cruise ships, no travel on airplanes, no going out to eat at 4 star restaurants. Its no wonder people are going on shopping sprees!

I think it's a combo of cheap $$$ courtesy of our Fed inflating asset prices plus folks realizing the values of collectibles, of which the 993 is a prominent example.

I don’t disagree with either, but I also think part of it is that people have viscerally recognized that life is short. Lifelong dreams and ambitions put on hold are now being pursued aggressively. Deferring to a later date no longer sounds appealing. Who knows what that later date might bring. Who would have dreamed 2020 could have ever happened.

I do think that mindset will be fleeting and I’m sure things will normalize, but I wouldn’t anticipate a crash in WB prices. It’s a limited, finite commodity that is only getting rarer in time. At a certain point, these high prices simply create the new baseline. The days of <$100k WB cars are probably over.
