Another one just went live: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...carrera-4s-30/

Guess everyone is cleaning out the closet due to these crazy prices.... That said, the car on this new listing is rough. Who lists a car with a check engine light warning and faulty codes??

Nice post and read over on 'rarri forum, however, I don't think a suitable 993 wide body that checks all the boxes <50k miles, no accidents etc. will ever be had again below $100K. I could be wrong. Just my humble opinion.

I’ve seen this car in person. It’s a diamond in the rough. I though about buying it but got distracted by an F car.

A Zenith blue widebody is so special!

Do you know what the check engine light and code faults are about? Does it need an engine out?

The seller explains it in the comments of the BaT listing.

Thanks, he had me at J LO A....S. However, that train of thought works on a private sale and is a very good negotiation/offer point. On a public listing on BAT. What is your factor? Limiting your own bid based on the potential cost of the valve job only to have someone else outbid you? Bit of a gamble but I commend the seller's transparency and he is right.

Also cosmetically. Did you see that driver's bolster? This one is going to need some love for sure, post purchase.

There is a cashmere set of seats on Craigslist for $700 in New Hope PA. Easy to replace the drivers seat with a few bolts.

@fatmike You made my point. Replacing that seat for $700.00+/- prior to taking photos for listing this car would have brought it a higher sale value IMO. BAT takes about 8 weeks from submission to listing draft to listing going live. Anyway I'm putting too much into it. Hopefully someone picks it up for a reasonable price and puts in the work.
