Damn, a yellow CGT and a Silver on Nephrite WB 993... doing things on top.
Would you be willing to disclose if the strike price on the car was at the $155k asking or higher?

Hi there - new here! looking to get my first p car in the next month or so... hot for a 993... didn't want to start a whole new thread, can I ask for thoughts on pricing here? I've seen a number of cars over the past few weeks but most interestingly, I've found a beautiful 993 C4 local to me with under 15k miles. The interior is immaculate. The paint is also in great shape, however three body panels were replaced 20+ years ago (passenger fender, door, quarter panel). No structural damage from what I can tell, I have also seen the repair receipts which are consistent with surface damage only. The story I was told is that the car was backed into by an SUV while parked. Otherwise, the car is a time capsule - no modifications.
Any opinions of what a fair price range would be? My plan is to keep the car forever (or until I get bored in a few years and want a TT!).
Thanks for your thoughts... looking forward to joining the club...

I'm a fan of a C4 over a C2 due to my canyon driving style, so I may tend to overvalue a C4S. It's hard to give a good value without knowing what other options it has or modifications. But I'd say a 15K C4S with a manual that's bone stock without mods and given the panel replacement.... hmmm, perhaps in the $140-$150K range presuming it's not a crazy desirable colour combo. All things being equal I give it a $20K knockdown for the panel replacement and paint blending. Also bear in mind my price range is a good deal price from a buyer's perspective, not the highest retail possible from a seller's. IMHO, YMMW.
With mileage that low, take a look at all the maintenance records since new and ensure it has consistent mileage over all the years and didn't sit for a long time not being driven. Or if it did sit, I'd say 3-4 years or more, that's it's had a good going thru prior to sale.

C4 is a (Narrow Body) or is it a C4S (Wide Body) big difference … there is another thread here on NB 993s. A 15k mile WB in that condition easily $130k with that damage really hits it otherwise $185k - $200k+ if perfect with that mileage.

That’s a nice 14k mile C2 (narrow body) at Autokennel that’s priced at $111k. I think their prices tend to be pretty close to market correct. Take some off (15-20%?) for all the panel hits. I’ll defer to others whether the C4 would be worth more or less.

thanks, it’s a C4 - narrow body. As a newbie I’d thought all the 4 were “wide” but see that’s wrong - not a 4S.

Didn't see these discussed:

21k miles, bid to $125k...which seems unusually low.
