We're a shop and have never been a dealer. We assist our customers by offering their cars on consignment. www.beckseuropean.com
and yet i understand (and have seen) that you are one of the most critical individuals of other people's auctions. you almost appear to want to undermine other auctions for no apparent reason. you also do this - critical questions and asking for information that only a bidder would really require - with no intention of bidding on those cars/auctions. can you comment on why you seem to do that and for what purpose? it seems quite disingenuous from an outside perspective when you are actively selling on that same platform.

Whenever I see his posts on BAT I view them as good observations that most potential buyers would not notice when most bidders can only see the car online. Not sure of why all the hate since plenty of people on this thread have posted critical comments on supposedly low mile cars.

Well said. A blatant double standard exists in this forum when someone isn't in the kool kids klub.

Part of BaT's magic is obviously objective comments from expert, non-bidders. That's a fundamental key to their success. My goal is to help amateur buyers and people in the BaT community learn more about the cars they're looking at. Simple as that.
As I've challenged here before: Present evidence that I'm being unfair or adversarial with my questions to sellers and I'll be happy to debate those. I also welcome legit questions in my auctions.
Guards red 97 C2S with only 3k miles but heavily modified to increase horsepower by the owner. Its offered for only $81k so I wonder what the full story is.

Becks European is definitely a car dealer who acts like a stereotypical used car dealer. He is a bully pretending to be a victim and trying to create an imaginary narrative. I don’t hate him/her/them but I will stand up to a bully.
You can judge his professionalism and character for yourself. Just a couple examples:

I've never understood how a grown adult man can use the word "bully". Polarizing? ... Sure.
I'm 5'6", and a buck-fifty-five in race trim.
Pretty intimidating.
In my limited exposure and conversation with Frank, I’ve found his Porsche knowledge and the level of care for his customers to be impeccable. He runs a very well accepted high end repair shop in AZ and happens to sell a few customer cars on consignment. Yes, I’m sure some of you think him to be obnoxious… but that’s perhaps your problem as much, if not more, than his.
For the record, I’ve never even met him.
He’s the annoying individual who started propagandizing and going on a crusade about pulling gauges, after he got called out for not disclosing ACTUAL unknown miles on a car first. If that doesn’t say it all, then I don’t know what does.
As I've said before; I don't believe a seller needs to necessarily declare a fixed odo in an ad but they DO have an obligation not to be offended or outraged if someone asks. Focus Tony!
haha… what? I thought you were asking on the auctions to help potential, not-as-educated buyers out so i would think that you would voluntarily offer that information up yourselves on your own…you know… for the good of the potential buyers.

Amazing how un-factual and vindictive this has become. The ulterior motive and agenda here is quite obvious.
I sold that low mi, Zenith Blue ‘98 cab in ‘19. Current 993TT on BaT has full disclosure and uber transparency regarding odometer repair. Next one is a ‘97 C4S that’s in the queue; same disclosure.
