Does anyone know Hagerty's source data for their valuation tool? Is it internal agreed value data from their customer base, or based on transaction results, or both? I think agreed value tends to lag the actual market. I also like the Classic.com tool.

BTW, 2 more WBs on BaT within a day of the other two auctions ending. Like clockwork.

Here is my awful idea of the day: Buy all the cheap 993 Cabs, stamp out new roofs in brazil, convert them to coupes, sell them on BaT. : )

i would think a Hagerty valuation chart, for your specific C2S year, would be a valid piece of information for any insurer. you may have to prove condition based on #1 or #2, but it a decent place to start.

i have yet to attempt to 'max out' any of my valuations, but i have never received any resistance on my requested values. (insured with Hagerty)
