It is a fantastic color! Also the number of parts and pieces that are original to the car- pre-water incident- are astounding. It's another tip of the hat to the quality of restorative work done by Paulo and team.

It is well worth returning to Paolo's initial post of this car, Christmas Day, 2018. Recall the pictures: Monumental Work!
Porsche and Porsche Classic missed an opportunity to become involved in an epic project the likes of which are unique.
Follow-up in Panorama, Excellence, or a similar venue is warranted.

There was a multiple page spread in Pano last year- Paulo mentioned he's interested in getting more publication out there. I did recommend Excellence to him as well.

After you mentioned it, I checked the Excellence Porsche Magazine, and I also discovered there is the 000 Magazine, whose editor-in-chief was working at the Panorama Magazine for 4/5 years and at the Excellence Magazine for 20 years, Pete Stout.

This morning an italian web-radio interviewed me about the project, I would definitely share the interview here as well, but I don't know if this is the case, since it is in Italian: but this made me think of checking whether it might be of journalistic interest to do the same for an American radio, perhaps you guys can tell me who to contact, or can you report it directly yourself?!?
I am far from being english mother tongue, but it would represent a nice challenge for me, and maybe a very exotic content for you overseas.

all the more so because the idea of creating a 993 RSCS/CUP 1:1 tribute came from the pages of Rennlist, since a big part of fatherhood is decidedly overseas, although the car has never left the European soil since its manufacture

You guys here, you can feel charged of a huge fatherhood in the Limoncella conception!

Here's the 12 minutes interview recorded on the Radio Italia 5 Web Radio - inside their Story-time program, where I am talking mostly about the backside aspects of the Limoncella story - it is in italian: it would be super having the opportunity to do the same for some English language Radio as well.

Merry Christmas to the Porsche 993 RLers community, may the 2024 be fulfilled of at least 993 satisfactions!

Merry Lemon Christmas! 🍋🍋🍋

Limoncella is going to get the following job done in the coming weeks:

- first deep polish and ceramic coating threatment
- Mod for the M003 horn button
- Mod for the oil cooler fan double speed switch controller, since the HVAC control unit that is usually in the center console next to the radio has been removed
- historic inspection to be performed at the Country institute to accredit the car in the historical record

- last but not least, raise fund for the worldwide presentation of the car, so to make accessible to the people the whole Limoncella worldwide live streaming.

help, hints, are very welcome in all of the points above.

Thank you all guys for existing, without your support this crazy thing called love would probably have happened, but not in the same comfortable way it did happen.
Psychological support is something untouchable, for many maybe could result inconsistent and not real, but to me it was truly effective.

I wish you a wonderful 2024!

Paolo,
Could you or somebody also bilingual translate and transcribe your recent Italian radio interview into English, and then post it on this 993 Forum or via a link?
Ciao, Fred

You did a great job, even better than some 993's I see this side of the Atlantic, love the proper outer mount BBS E88 on a narrow body and the E-PS setup, both are cherry on the cake.

Much respect!

Is there a way to do it?
I was thinking about it, I mean, how to find a way to place the subtitles in english, with the right timing, while I am answering the questions of the journalist.
Can someone help do this?

Thank you C4SPolar, Simon (templar) is a very very picky perfectionist and he can't stand to see his creature even with the minimal sign of (for what it is for him) imperfection, that for standard or even good eyes would never considered a defect (and very probably not even be noticed).
The entire car has been rebuilt from sketch with such an attitude, I have no doubt the light she shows is the result of a long long sequence of single processes done in such a way, so that in the end the result is, let's say, different.

The wheels are a mod that I was dreaming to do on the polar silver 993, a mod I saw on another 993 from england, a set of BBS Motorsport E29 (the wheels delivered in center lock config. only on the 996 Cup - with aluminum alloy centers) modified in the outer and inner barrels, restored to bran new conditions and with the 5 lugs conversion. I staid in a very unceasing way on point, since in the very beginning I was exagerating, imagining to make an RSR tribute, that had the E28 with magnesium centers, so once I "discovered" the centers of the E29 are in the same exact shape of the E28, only they can be drilled without any loss of doubt of integrity loss, I couldn't renounce to have at least a detail of the RSR on her.
They fit the wheel arches very very tight, especially in the front the 8,5" channel is really fullfilling the wheel arch in way that make her look much more like a modern 911.

I have no idea, both the headlights where removed less than 1 year after the purchase of the new car, when the owner asked for the litronic upgrade and have remained on the shelf since then.

I tried to turn on the auto-generated English subtitles, there are some minor mistakes, but at least now it is 99% comprehensible by english speaking people, please try have a look

I did a word file with the translation, but I don't know how to insert it and synchronize with the video.

Total 911 - Issue #242 - April 2024 ...
...is the answer.

The lemon yellow popping out on top of the page is Super!

Opening Shot

I think it must be on two pages one next to the other

Very very well written article, I must say

I must thank Wilhelm and Lee so so much, they've been so very present and careful, and precise for the better final result
