I have the same experience! I've driven LOTS of different manual transmissions and the 992 is the easiest besides the Honda CRZ which had no torque.

The 992.1 will instantly lose its freshness when 992.2 are on the street. Same thing happened when Cayenne 2024 was introduced and people started complaining about everything but look at it now, would anyone still want to buy an older model with a comparable price?

Probably. But maybe not this time?! It'll be interesting to say the least.

Have you been skipping leg day?

JK. I don't have problem driving daily rush hour traffic here in Chicago with my T (and our traffic is as bad as they come) but I understand everybody has different levels of experience and comfort thresholds when it comes to driving a stick. I used to do this with my former 7.2 GT3 too and I guess I've become so used to driving stick in traffic that it has become easy and nbd to me.

My wife on the other hand, doesn't drive manuals often and definitely complains during the rare times she has to deal with traffic when driving my car. And she definitely skips leg day.

I disagree. Minus the interior - the 991s still look great and modern.

I agree and get your point but you spend most of the time on the inside and (IDK about others) I spend the rest of the time admiring it from the outside. The interior on the 991 is completely dated. If you want pure analog there are better generations to get IMO.

I especially hate the 991 infotainment screen. The car looked much better without it

Agreed. On that note, I don't think the 992.2 interior makes the 992.1 look dated at all. The cheap push to start might be a step back.

Yep. I went to PECLA and drove the cgts and did not like the interior at all so I bought a c2s instead.

My car is showing up on the dealer website new inventory along with 12 other 911s and only 4/13 are MT. Only 2 cars are non grayscale colors for that matter.

This would align with everything else we've heard... question will be does that somehow make the only drop top/targa model that will be available with manual a Turbo? Would be sad to see no targa or cabs with manuals. Maybe they make a Targa T or a Carrera T Cabriolet?

As a MY26 which means they cannot go on sale per U.S. guidelines until February 2025. Eight months to go…

Wait a minute. There are people who buy expensive sports cars to drive in bumper to bumper traffic? That's like wearing an Armani suit to plant a vegetable garden.
