First you say that a 992 Carrera S is slow compared to 3 Performance. One could overlook that for a sec. Then you throw in a car that hasn’t been produced and will likely have thrusters, to bolster your initially flawed idea of model 3 superiority and therefore Tesla/EV superiority. See that pattern? But you didn’t stop there. You go on to wish that Porsche will come up with a 911 that can compete with EVs on track. A 992 S with Cup2s will beat every Tesla car produced in the last 3 years on track, including the Plaid.

It it is night vision, do not spec. My wife had this on her Panamera - it was nothing but trouble. The sensor was out of alignment and when that happens it a warning that stays on in the gauge cluster. It took multiple visits and camera replacements and they still couldn't fix it.
We ended up just turning off the functionality effectively disabling it.

Check the cayenne forums. There is a specific discussions on this and the results from activations are quite good. It is the only safety feature i left our on my wife’s cayenne and I have regretted - you only need it to save you once and it is worth the money.
I think based on the reports and the actual benefit if you are doing lots of night driving it is worth it.
I used night vision on my 911 C4 all the time driving at night. Worked great for spotting deer that I wouldn't have seen otherwise. Also helped me to see peds walking on the side of the road at night on twisty-turny mountain roads.

Us 992.1 guys are going to be thankful that we have the last of the non hybrid and an analog tach.
You think we have problems with engine mount and rattle issues, just think that when it comes to switching out the hybrid battery how much that will cost and the amount of initial issues that will come with the first year of introducing the hybrid
The 992.1 is the perfect blend of modern tech with staying true to the analog roots of the car. Any of the Taycan elements just give it an appliance feel to the car. Also when you take a look at the dials that are all digital on the 992.2 and then see the tactile buttons in the center, it feels inconsistent. You almost need the analog rpm look to complement the center tactile buttons. The update looks like an afterthought.
I think our cars are going to go up in value as a result. I say order your cars now before the 992.2 comes out!
Ps. I really hope they don't ultimately go with the vertical vents. Once I see it, I can't unsee it............this looks like little kids waiting in line to get their braces on their teeth:
