This forum is probably that 10% 😅

I’m in line for my 5th 911, of which only 2 were manual. Hitting 60, I’m all for the convenience of the PDK. It’s just too damn good of a gearbox, shifting better than I ever could. I think we have an enthusiast bias here on the forum for manuals, and more people than not accept the automatic transmission as a good choice for a daily driver.

Yeah, the PDK has evolved so much. I often struggled with PDKs even in 991.2 GTS (doing unexpected shifts, or not shifting when expected) but that is gone since the 992.
I enjoy having the option to switch to manual or just occasionally intervening. During let's say engaged driving, I often end up forgetting that I could switch to all manual because the PDK does exactly what I want.

I am in my early 50s and until my left knee takes a massive dump I will always select the manual option when presented one over a dual clutch or a torque converter automatic. I could care less about shift speeds nor the convenience as for me it is all about the driving experience, being more connected to the vehicle.

The same is happening with base and GTS. Why is this surprising? They have to move 50k+ 911 cars in a year, better for them if production does not stop.

He is very reliable, there will be a 992.2 GT3 in October, he also said that the special edition Turbo S was given a name that started with the letter J but I don't remember what it was exactly.

.

With all this information, do you have any idea what the approximate price jump will be for the 2025 models?

My source said to look for a 10% price jump.

10% is significant. If this is true and manual goes away on the non GT3 cars, the 992.1 manual cars will hold value extremely well.

Likewise.

PAG delayed the additional price increase that they had planned for Q4 23 / Q1 24 so a hefty one is definitely coming.

I know historically Porsche has done gaps in production. Also historically Porsche has never launched GTS as a launch model as well.
So no wonder they can continue GT3 production if they know they can make tons of money,
