McNamara -> Obviously, you are merely rationalizing your ADM narrative (probably for a reason), even though that is increasingly obsoleted by the real consumers who have just ordered regular 911 models in the Bay Area and other regions at MSRP at most.
Good luck with your delusions. We will enjoy our 911 cars at MSRP or under, while you plug your ears and stomp your feet. The car market has moved beyond your little hopes and wishes of sweet ADMs.

The only one stamping their feet here is you. In fact it's suspect that someone who just got a car at MSRP would seemingly dedicate so much time to coming on RL to whine and cry about ADMs.

The consequences of that are addendums. I as well as the many others will not pay in to the greed of Dealerships and Third Party Sellers.
Those who paid into dealer market adjustments acted impulsively, knowing it wasn't necessary to secure a car but opting to do so anyway.
feeling as though they had enough money to take the hit.
Now, feeling aggrieved as ADMs decrease, they're upset seeing others pay less for the same car, they act like young kids throwing temper tantrums.

Meanwhile I’ve been enjoying my car for years. I didn’t have to wait for the market to cool down (if it even has). I’m fortunate enough to be able to pay for the car even at a historically high price point.

I was talking to the other guy. Although I’ve no doubt you can get a car at msrp today, market and trim level depending.

It's worth noting that the decrease in addendums only began around September this year, while I got an allocation in March of 2023 where I then discussed ADMs and originally I was going to have 15k addendum tacked on to my made to order Carrera T,
When I got the allocation the price was also 116k not 125k or what it is at now. but I negotiated and said I would not buy a car if it had an addendum, we then made a deal to speck out the car to over 140k and that would remove any addendum.

McNamara -> That's funny. I didn't want a 911 in the last three years until November of 2023, and I got my allocation at MSRP within two weeks.
As for your rather silly rants, I have talked a lot more about 911s than MSRPs and prices (e.g. 911 T vs. C2S for ordering, FAL, color choices, interior inlay choices, manual transmissions in 992.2, etc.) but I do not need to get into an argument with a man-child, who, unlike Elon Musk, is a lot poorer than I am anyway. LOL.

ADM is Additional Dealer Markup, NOT "addendum".
While it's rarely advertised as "ADM" by the dealers, they will usually attach cute names like "Market Adjustment", etc. Your SA may refer to it as ADM.
People did get 992s at MSRP in 2022 and 2023 without paying any ADM. While it's nice to pay the right price, it's not particularly special or unique. It certainly wasn't in 2023.

An Adjusted Dealer Markup (ADM) is essentially an addendum. Both terms refer to additional charges or markups applied by dealerships above the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for a particular vehicle. These additional fees or markups aim to capitalize on high demand, limited supply, or other market factors, increasing the final price paid by the customer.
The terms "ADM" (Additional Dealer Markup) and "addendum" are often used interchangeably and can refer to similar practices in the automotive industry. However, there can be a slight difference in their use:
1. **Additional Dealer Markup (ADM):** ADM typically refers to the extra charge applied by a dealership above the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for a vehicle. It's an additional fee or markup that dealerships may impose due to high demand, limited supply, or other market factors.
2. **Addendum:** An addendum in the automotive context usually refers to an additional document or sticker placed on a vehicle that outlines extra features, add-ons, or modifications made by the dealership or a third-party. This can include added accessories, extended warranties, or other enhancements to the vehicle. In some cases, an addendum might also include information about any ADM or extra pricing imposed by the dealership.
In essence, while ADM refers more specifically to the increased pricing by the dealership, an addendum encompasses any additional documentation, modifications, or pricing details added to the vehicle beyond its standard specifications or MSRP.
