Actually did a quick search and all three actually look kind of luxurious. Makes me think we're getting swindled $ for $.

I actually agree with it. X3 and X5 aren’t what they used to be. Although we do have a Macan GTS that just entered production (finally!) the CX5 is an excellent value proposition for $42K. We almost got one for the wife and built a pool. Instead we went with the GTS and will delay the pool a year.

You’re lucky! I had to build the pool first. Only then I got the approval to buy a Porsche! 😅

I have a pool and did it more than a decade ago. It transformed my yard, BUT it's generally just a waste of money in New England. The season is too short.

Lol! I have an amazing wife! Although she said no to a 911 until she gets a pool.

DO NOT get a pool. Worst way to literally bury money. Get a yearly family membership at the local club and save yourself the hassle.

Sure If you like to get high on the smell of chlorine. Salt water pool is the way to go. Oh yeah this is an ADM thread so I need to make a remark on that. Over on the 718 thread people are talking about losing $20k in value this year on 4 cylinder 718s. The ice is melting, will only be a matter of time before the same talk happens on 992s.

Kids were hardly using our pool, then Covid made having it a blessing. Everybody wanted a pool then and there was a long wait and pool ADM. I wonder how the pool business is now.

That was my line for a long time… however, sooner or later, happy wife, happy life…

The season is longer in Houston, and it’s still a waste of money…

…although, sitting outside in front of the water is quite relaxing.

NOT a chemist. I have spent COUNTLESS hours and dollars on personal property swimming pools. The CLOSEST I get to the water is the edge.

The ProTuff Products pool pole and their nets are THE BEST ones available. With their lifetime warranty, they will be the LAST ones ever purchased. I have both their 23" and 19" nets. Both are great, but the 23" takes LOTS more effort to push through the water. It is still my preference because of the greater coverage size.

Yes, converted our chlorine pool (built by previous owner) to salt water. Ok back on topic, as long as Porsche keeps jacking 911 MSRPs, 911 owners won’t lose value even if they’re paying a decent ADM. Demand is so high for 911s and Porsche continues to limit the supply. If anything, ADMs might be a thing of the past but new model year MSRPs will continue to increase, making former model year values go up and/or remain high.

It's not official official, but if you read the tea leaves, and look at historical precedent, there is typically a very short period of time where non-RS GT production overlaps with the introduction of RS production. in this case, remaining 2023s. to my knowledge, with good sources, there will not be 2024 non-RS GT3s. the next GT3 allocations will be 992.2. i don't have info on timing for this. just like the 4RS will end production in July 2024 after a full 2024 production year, and will have approximately 6 months of Spyder RS production overlap. this confirmed. don't ask me how i know. but i know. you can fight me later.

Quite a few people on the GT3 board with 2024 allocations would disagree with you.
