Lol. Find another dealer. The Honda dealer a few miles from my house has 151 CRVs in stock at the moment....during the peak of the shortage they only had a handful of new cars on their entire lot. There is no longer a shortage of most vehicles.

My Porsche dealer has 90+ macans and like 40 cayennes!?? I’m number 4 for a T allocation at msrp. Hope it happens before year end.

Decided to lock it in, and after finishing my built, he mentioned about a $30K ADM, which honestly left me shocked (and bitter because he didn't mention it until before signing the contract).
I'm supposed to get it in September and trying to push them to add ED to my order.
Debating if I should try to renegotiate the ADM maybe down to $20K, to see if they want to build relationship with me as the only dealership in Las Vegas as I plan to trade in my Macan GTS for a Cayenne Coupe GTS (or Turbo) in the next couple of years.
Also, they said they're charging $150K ADM for GT3s and $50K for Turbo/TS

Just wanted to share my story. Walked into the Las Vegas Porsche dealership a couple of weeks ago to see wait times for allocation on a Targa 4 GTS, expecting months if not a year, and the SA told me they just got one in.

One of the SA’s did tell me that I would probably have to co-sign the loan for her. It is the first car she will be buying herself, first job out of college. She does not have much of a credit history, he said the banks have really tightened credit for car buyers. In the entry level car segment I would think this is hurting sales, which should lead to price reductions off of MSRP?

Ultimately this is my dream car and a car that I'll keep for a very long time so I decided to go with it regardless, even if I find this practice just crazy to me.
Thank you for the response!

She would rather have a VW Tiguan, she will probably buy one of these instead of a CR-V. And the VW dealer does not charge ADM. They had a nice looking Golf R discounted $10K off of MSRP. But yeah, there must be 15 Honda dealers around Atlanta, I doubt they are all are asking for ADM.

Toronto ain't the same as the US. Canada also has an insane luxury tax on cars. so you may not be paying it to the franchise, but you're paying the same amount either way.

California's population is larger than Canada's. California's GDP is larger than Canada's. California, land of the sports car, has great weather that most of Canada only enjoys a few months of the year. Indeed, very different markets.

I'll try that or really push them to give me wheel and tire protection and other things like that almost at no cost.

It is true, most offer $400 to $500, you need a copy of the diploma and a job or a job offer letter to qualify, but it is easy money. Hyundai was offering 1.99% financing for 36 months to recent college grads as well. That is a great rate in these times but she did not like the Hyundai SUV so much.
