ADMs dropping

I was offered an allocation for Carrera T at MSRP but the catch is it requires a trade in or the purchase of Porsche a design bespoke watch. Dealer said Porsche is requesting it not them. I’m a Rolex guy. Honestly not a fan of the PD watches. So in reality the allocation is not at MSRP. I have purchased 5 new and 1 used P cars in the last 8 years - Cayman S, Carrera 911GTS, Cayenne GTS, 911S, Panamera used. So I’m puzzled why Porsche would treat their loyal customers like this... shakedown to move their watches or make thousands more on their customers trades.
Dealer is blowing smoke up your ***….Porsche is not requesting them to tie the purchase of a vehicle to the purchase of a watch. The dealer is doing this on their own accord.

Was going to say the same thing. This is all dealer games. Porsche corporate does not care one bit if you buy a watch or not. So nice of the OP’s dealer to treat a customer that way after buying several cars from them.

Not to mention that most, if not all, of the posters in this thread preaching delayed gratification and urging everyone to protest ADMs already have a 911 in the garage to tide them over until they get their allocation. It's easy to tell everyone at the table to be more patient about the slow service at the restaurant when you have a huge appetizer for yourself sitting in front of you.

Anticipating an allocation is no fun (esp when it's your first Porsche and you don't have an existing one to tide you over), but anticipating delivery after you get an allocation is.

It’s a mystery why anyone is paying ADM now given that GTS models will barely fetch MSRP with 13 or 700 miles on the odometer.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...arrera-gts-10/ $148,850 MSRP sold for $153,500 1,200 miles on odometer
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...1-carrera-gts/ $161,880 MSRP sold for $165k 13 miles on odometer.

I suppose the last listing is an anomaly. What’s crazy is that March/April 2022 people were paying $30k-$50k over MSRP on RL.
This is across the board on BaT, as I was just looking at 2020 720s Performance with 5k miles $353k MSRP couldn’t even sell for $100k off MSRP.
