I’ve watched so many flat6 videos that when I read “this is Jon from Flat 6 Motorsports”, i saw and heard him in my head.

Unfortunately, we didn't. We were hoping to get to a drag strip with it but our timeline got crunched and we didn't have enough free time to get it done. From others we've seen, we believe a 9.9-10.1 is likely in the 1/4 mile.

Sorry, I didn't know I'd cause such trauma when doing these lol. We actually had Michael from our team do a Stage 3 build we recently did so look forward to another face/voice!

Any chance you got a 60-130 time?

And do you have a final dyno graph of how much power you made with meth?

I don't recall getting a 60-130 run with it but this was the last dyno we ran with it. We got about 50whp with the meth. With more power, the PDK started to get angry and ultimately we decided to back it down to the 651whp tune. It could probably do more with an upgraded clutch pack or reduction in reliability.

looks like fun!

this dyno was with meth still?

was it still able to put down power in 1st?

Are you planning on doing the bigger turbos plus meth on the manual T?

Yes, this was with meth. Yes, it put down power with the Cup 2s, gave a little slip but overall it hooked. This was with meth. We plan to do the S4 set-up without meth on the T for a bit and will make a call if we do the meth or not.

Good stuff. A little slip means more fun lol

Any timeline for stage 4 build? Curious on how you like the manual set up with all that power and how clutch etc takes it

We've done several in the 650-700HP range without issues, we're doing a lot of testing on our T so will have more detailed answers soon. We're hoping to find the limit.

The install is a direct swap. The fronts utilize an adapter bracket which is standard on the larger brake packages on the 992 generation 911.

Check the listing below for all of the part numbers. I'll update the list tomorrow after I confirm everything we ordered from Porsche. These calipers are also the same from the 991.2 Carrera (with PCCB) or 991.2 Turbo (with PCCB). In the 992 generation, the PCCB became an option for the Carrera so there are part numbers for the yellow, black, and red calipers now. Either way, they should all work with the 992 Carrera assuming you get the sum of the parts. You can use OEM rotors and pads if preferred but we opted for the 2-Piece Girodisc Rotors and Ferodo DS2500 Pads.

Everything felt good and stable with the bed in procedure. I’ll report back more when I have a chance to get more miles on it but initially, they feel great. Tons of friction and stability. We didn’t have to code anything. The 992 generation uses an electronically boosted master cylinder. I’ll learn a lot more when we get it on track. Essentially this package I’m running is if I selected the PCCB option on the 992 and swapped for steel rotors which many track folks do. The steel rotors help keep the cost reasonable!

Stock (Calipers, Rotors & Pads)
  • Front 33.0 lbs (4 piston calipers w/ 330x34mm rotors)
  • Rear 28.4 lbs (4 piston calipers w/ 330x28mm rotors)
PCCB Conversion (Calipers, Rotors & Pads)
  • Front 38.5 lbs (6 piston calipers w/ 410x36mm rotors)
  • Rear 33.0 lbs (4 piston calipers w/ 390x32mm rotors)
This results in + 5.5 lbs to a front axle and + 4.6 lbs to a rear axle. The calipers are pretty similar in weight, it’s mostly the weight of the larger rotors, to be expected when sizing up that large.

Part List
  • Front Calipers (9P1615123K / 9P1615124K) I believe the suffix S will give you the black ones
  • Rear Calipers (992615423H / 992615424H)
  • Front Caliper Adapters (9P1611315) X2
  • Bolts to connect Caliper Adapters to Wheel Carrier (PAF008187) X4
  • Front Caliper Bolts (WHT008186) X4
  • Rear Caliper Bolts (N91183701) X4
  • Front Splash Shields (9B1615311B / 9B1615312B)
  • Rear Splash Shield (992615611F / 992615612F)
  • Rotor screws (N10456004) X4 if not re-used
  • Wear sensors (9P1907637A) X2 Front (9P1907637C) X2 Rear
  • Front Rotors (Girodisc A1-156)
  • Rear Rotors (Girodisc A2-156)
  • Front Pads (Ferodo FCP4664)
  • Rear Pads (Ferodo FCP4665)
  • Brake Lines (Goodridge 37035) Body hardline to wheel carrier
  • Brake Lines L & R (992611771-B and 992611772B) Hardlines from wheel carrier to caliper
The base brake lines for the front calipers work but they don’t properly sit in the bracket on the wheel carrier. I’ll follow up after we confirm fitment of these brake hard lines (one’s that connect to the caliper) for the 100% solution. Car drives fine now but long-term, I’d rather have the longer hard line that seats into the bracket as intended from Porsche. We’re bringing in PN 992611771-B and 992611772B that come with the PCCB brake option to verify.

This is a very attractive and tempting proposition to upgrade brake even if the upgrade just for looks, given that its all within Porsche part bin (except the rotors and the pads)
John @Flat6Motorsports:
1. can you confirm if these part number "Front Splash Shields (9B1615311B / 9B1615312B)" are correct ? I am only able to find 9P1615311B / 9P1615312B.
2. can you also confirm the bolt for the caliper bracket to the wheel carrier (PAF008187) X4 ? this appears to be discontinue. Do you have the spec of this bolt ie.M12x1.5x62 ?
3. And from your part list, the rear do not need caliper spacer ?

That is correct, I had a typo on the Front Splash Shields.

The bolts are available:

Only the fronts have the spacers.

Do this GiroDisc comes with black anodized hat ? or they only comes in this "light purple" color as seen on your 992.1 T now ?

They come in black now! I had mine stripped down and anodized in black for our Carrera T. I love the changed look.

No, we basically spec'd them with a +10mm offset so we didn't have to run a spacer.
